Shwetha Chandrashekar, Senior Associate in our Bengaluru office, conducted a workshop titled “Decoding Term Sheets and Best Practices For Your First Funding Round”, for the benefit of startups operating at the GreenBubbles Co-Working Space in Bengaluru.
The key issues addressed during this workshop, included
(a) Providing the attendees with an understanding of the key terms contained in a term sheet; and
(b) Explaining how to prepare for a term sheet negotiation, for a legal due diligence exercise and addressing issues arising out of a legal due diligence.
