Amrut Joshi conducted a workshop for the benefit of members of TiE Kerala, at Kochi, titled “Legal Basics for Startups”.

His presentation explained:

(a) How to incorporate different kinds of business entities;

(b) What are the different kinds of commercial contracts that entities execute with customers/vendors/third party partners;

(c) How to structure issuance of Equity and ESOPs under Indian Company Law; and

(d) How to structure employment agreements with employees of startups.
