On May 16, 2018, the Department of Telecom (“DoT”) came out with a notification regulating certain aspects of Machine to Machine (“M2M”) Communication and the Internet of Things (“IOT“). This is the first time regulators in India have recognised this fast-growing industry and sought to regulate it.
In this presentation, Viraj Joshi reviews and summarises the key regulations introduced by the notification.
