Dia Shetty

Dia Shetty is an Associate at GameChanger Law Advisors (GLA). Since joining GLA in 2022 as a first year Associate, Dia has become an integral part of the GLA team that is driving legal innovation and providing astute counsel to an impressive array of clients.

Dia has advised a US-based private equity fund on strategic acquisitions within India, and has helped an early-stage venture capital fund navigate intricate legal frameworks while overseeing their investments into deeptech startups. 

She has also assisted a pioneering social enterprise platform committed to the betterment of public health in vulnerable communities on various general corporate, data protection and commercial contracting matters. She has also played a pivotal role in advising a leading electric mobility startup, focusing on rapid charging battery technology, on various corporate and commercial legal assignments.

Dia has also been instrumental in helping GLA build its electric mobility practice.  She was part of the Team that co-authored two landmark reports that outline the legal, commercial, regulatory and policy landscape in India pertaining to EV Battery Packs and EV Charging Infrastructure, both of which received widespread media coverage and has been well received in the industry for its depth and insights.

Dia’s professional trajectory is set towards mastering the intricacies of Venture Capital and the Electric Mobility Sector, laying the groundwork for revolutionary developments within the legal landscape.

Dia read law at the Jindal Global Law School, and graduated with a B.A. LLB (Hons.) degree in 2022.
