Samheeta Rao is a Senior Partner at GameChanger Law Advisors. Over a period of 19 years, Samheeta has built a highly reputed practice in the fields of General Corporate Advisory, Employment Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Social Enterprises. She has acquired significant expertise in representing clients operating in the Indo-US business corridor on cross-border M&A transactions and impact investments, earning acclaim for her problem-solving skills and legal proficiency, particularly in enterprise risk assessments and investigations.
Her impactful work for clients like Sattva Consulting and the eGovernments Foundation highlight her deep expertise in the Social Enterprise sector. Samheeta spearheaded the Firm’s work on the Life Skills Collaborative project- a collaborative of 18 leading organizations to enable integrates life skills into India's public education system.
Prior to joining GLA, Samheeta co-headed the legal team at Goldman Sachs’ Bengaluru office. She spent the first 6 years of her career at Amarchand Mangaldas’ Bengaluru office.
Samheeta read law at the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and graduated with a B.A. LLB (Hons.) degree in 2006.
